LVRC road races

A full programme of races for all LVRC age groups.

Race entry

Entries open: 28 May 2017
Entries close: 2 July 2017

After entry closes a waiting list will be in operation until Wednesday 19th July - all wait listings will be handled by RiderHQ.

Race programme

Start - category - approx distance - laps

10:00 - A&B - 55 miles - 5.75 laps

10:05 - C&D - 45 miles - 4.75 laps

10:10 - EFGH - 36 miles - 3.75 laps

Held under LVRC Rules & Regulations.

Course

The course is the well-known Boxford circuit of approximately 10 miles; undulating with a fair pull up Hungerford Hill of about a mile. The route is mainly on country lanes with a variable road surface - not one for your best tubs!

  • Race HQ should be open by 8:30 am
  • Sign on closes at 09:40

How to find the Race HQ

Race HQ: Boxford Village Hall, Rood Hill, Boxford, Newbury, Berkshire, RG20 8DD.

Parking at HQ

Parking at HQ is limited and there is a low steel gantry over the entrance. Additional parking is in field 100 metres south of race HQ, directly off the road towards Boxford. Please park in designated parking only, under direction from parking stewards.

Car parking at drivers’ own risk; we will not accept any liability for any accidents, damage or loss incurred.

NO PARKING at the finish under any circumstances.

Catering

We will be offering a great selection of drinks, home made cakes and fine food at great prices.

Prizes

We will be offering prizes in line with LVRC recommendations. £25 to each overall race winner and prizes per age category* as below
